Khalifeh received the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine -USA in 2010. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Communication Engineering department at the German Jordanian University (GJU) and the department chair. Dr. Khalifeh is the recipient of the Fulbright scholarship (2005-2007) and the recipient of several awards in the field of entrepreneurship, industrial links and innovations such as: 1st place in Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition (QRNEC) 2016, GJU award for industrial links 2016, GJU best researcher award, 2015, The Arab Technology Business Plan Competition (2014, 2nd place), the U. S. Department of State’s Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST, Tech-I) Competition (2013, 3rd place), and ArabNet Ideathon competition (2011, 1st place). Dr. Khalifeh is interested in bridging the gap between the academic institutes and the industry by continuously working toward establishing links and joints programs with them, and by encouraging students to be innovative and entrepreneurs.

Anshu Saxena Arora, Ph.D., PMP is the Tenured Full Professor of Marketing and Social Robotics at the School of Business and Public Administration, University of the District of Columbia (UDC), Washington, DC, USA. Dr. Arora is the Founding Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Social Robotics, and Behavioral Research Laboratory at UDC, funded by the National Science Foundation. Dr. Arora has been awarded several grants from the National Science Foundation, including the prestigious Faculty Research Initiation Award for her project titled Social Motivation Approach for Rehabilitation Through Educational Robotics (SMARTER) research where she works with social robots (NAO and Pepper robots) targeted at students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning/cognitive disabilities at various high schools and universities in Washington, DC. Dr. Arora is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA. Dr. Arora has published more than 55 research papers in national and international journals of repute and has presented about 65 papers in national and international conferences. Her research interests and expertise include artificial intelligence (AI), social-educational-ethical robotics; AI and social robotics; user experience (UX) / consumer experience (CX); AI Policy / Regulation / Governance across the United States, European Union, and China; social media analytics; digital marketing; social media strategy mix and social media measurement; stereotypical advertising polysemy; innovative experiential learning pedagogies; relational supply chain management strategy relationships; and project management.

Dr Emilia Sobolewska is a Lecturer and Researcher in the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at Edinburgh Napier University, specialising in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and User Experience. She leads the Human-Robot Interaction Group and co-leads the Emerging Technologies Group, fostering innovative research collaborations across academia and industry. Until recently she held a role of Director of Sensorium, a biometric research lab. Her work bridges theory and practice, exploring how people engage with technology and designing interactive, educational aspects of social and humanoid robots. Emilia holds a PhD in Computing, MSc degrees in Multimedia and Interactive Systems and Sociology, and a PgCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. As a Senior Teaching Fellow of Higher Education Academy, accredited by the Staff and Educational Development Association, she designs and leads both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She is SICSA Education Champion for School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment, and contributes internationally as a visiting lecturer at Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, as an external examiner for MSc Computing at Charles Darwin University. Nationally, she was also recently appointed an external examiner at Regent’s University London. Krishan Mohan Patel is the Founder and CEO of Arishna IoT Solutions, with operations in India and Austria. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Technische Universität Graz, Austria, where his research focuses on Artificial Intelligence for Interspecies Communication. He holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science with specialization in Cyber Security and a B.Tech. in Information Technology. Dr. Gulnara Zhetebevna Sakhipova is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Practitioners No. 1 at the NAO West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov. She holds the academic degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences and has extensive clinical and academic experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and primary healthcare. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Sakhipova has served in leading academic and clinical roles, including as an obstetrician-gynecologist at major clinical hospitals and as a faculty member in medical education. Hanshen Li received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Waseda University, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from North China Electric Power University. He is currently a Research Fellow at the China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute and also serves as a Youth Growth Mentor for the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League. With years of experience in the private sector, Muchtazar has led the implementation of ESG frameworks, sustainability disclosure, and stakeholder engagement across complex operations in Indonesia. His work bridges corporate responsibility, public reporting, and on-the-ground impact—delivering value for investors, customers, and local people alike. In recognition of his contributions, Muchtazar was named an SDG Pioneer by the United Nations Global Compact in 2019, only the second Indonesian in history to receive this honour. Miss Ti-Jesu Tunde-Adeleke is a computer scientist and lecturer with two degrees in Computer Science and a strong interest in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and their societal impact. Arup Kumar Sahoo is currently working as a Hatter postdoctoral research fellow at the Autonomous Navigation and Sensor Fusion Lab (ANSFL), Department of Marine Technologies, University of Haifa, Israel.
